Overview
Derbily ("we", "us") is a free football scores and statistics site. This page explains what data is collected when you use derbily.com, why, and what choices you have. Derbily is not affiliated with any football league, club or the data provider named below.
Data stored only on your device
Your favourite teams and leagues, predictions, hidden leagues, and theme/language preference are saved in your browser's local storage. This information is never sent to our servers and stays on your device unless you clear it yourself (Profile → Delete my device data).
Optional account
Creating an account is never required to use Derbily. If you choose to sign in with email/password, Google or GitHub, we store your email address and (for email accounts) a securely hashed password through our authentication provider, Neon Auth, to keep you signed in. We do not sell or share this information with third parties for marketing.
Cookies we set
Derbily itself sets only functional cookies: to keep you signed in, remember your language, timezone and a couple of interface preferences, and complete the Google/GitHub sign-in process. These are not used to track you across other websites.
Advertising
Derbily shows ads served by Google AdSense to help cover hosting and data costs. Google may set its own cookies and use data to show ads, which may include personalised ads unless you choose otherwise. Details are in Google's own policy at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Your ad choices
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before any personalised advertising cookies are set. You can review or withdraw ad personalisation at any time at adssettings.google.com.
Where the football data comes from
Live scores, statistics, lineups and player data are licensed from API-Football (api-football.com) and are not personal data about you as a visitor.
Your rights
Since account data is limited to what you provide at sign-up, you can review or remove it from your Profile page at any time, or contact us to request deletion.
